Chin Implant | Genioplasty

If you have a smaller chin and are dissatisfied with your appearance, you might be a candidate for a chin augmentation also known as genioplasty. Many chin implant patients feel their chin is too small, are uncomfortable with the appearance of their profile or desire a stronger, more projected chin. Dr. Wendel understands your chin is an important part of your face, which is why he can enhance your chin without an overdone or unnatural look.

Chin Implant Surgery

Dr. Wendel will perform chin implant surgery using anesthesia in a fully accredited surgical facility, Nashville. Next, Dr. Wendel will enter the chin through an incision inside the mouth. There are no scars on the outside. Dr. Wendel will then separate the skin from the bone. This is done to allow Dr. Wendel to place the chin implant in the desired location. After he has positioned the implant over the chin, he repositions the skin. Once complete, Dr. Wendel will go over chin implant recovery instructions, in order to minimize any discomfort.
