How does it work?
Scar revision treatments are tailored to your specific needs. Dr. Wendel will meet with you to see what kind of scar you have, and how noticeable it is now. Each scar is different, so each treatment will be different, too. The goal is always the same, though. Dr. Wendel’s goal is to create a thin, less painful, and less noticeable scar. Whether she suggests surgical excision, laser therapy, microneedling, or even steroid injections, know that you’re in good hands. Also, understand that scars can never be completely removed, though they can be made much less noticeable.
Where is the scar from Scar Revision?
The scar from this procedure will usually be in the same location as previous scar. There may be times when the scar will be lengthened or altered to improve upon the scar.
