Many women would like a noninvasive, long-lasting solution to achieving larger, fuller breasts. Dr. Wendel can increase your breast size without breast implants, major surgery or lengthy scars. He does this by creating space in your breast area, then carefully injecting your own fat that has been liposuctioned from parts of your body, into your chest area, sculpting a more natural look.

The results of this procedure are not as quick and convenient as getting breast implants. A significant time commitment is required. Also, women who want this procedure must have sufficient fat in other parts of the body to be harvested and prepared for fat transfer.

An increase of approximately one-cup size can be expected. Fat grafting for breast enhancement can also work well for correction of minor breast asymmetry, such as a woman who has one breast that developed slightly larger than the other.

Fat transfer has also been reported to show promising results for the treatment of tuberous breasts and for women who have a misshaped breast from breast cancer treatment.

Dr. Wendel wants you to know that some of the transferred fat doesn’t “take” and may dissolve. Sometimes more than one treatment session is necessary, especially if a higher volume of fat transfer is desired. The results of two smaller treatment sessions are better than the results of one large Fat Transfer treatment session.

What are your payment terms?

We require a deposit of $1,000-$1,500 up front to secure your surgery date and time. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than two weeks before your scheduled surgery date. We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, cashier’s check. We do accept Care Credit if you are interested in financing for the surgeon’s fee only. We do not accept personal checks or HSA.

What is included in the cost of the procedure?

The cost of your fat transfer to breasts includes all pre-op and post-op appointments, anesthesia, the surgery and surgical materials, facility fees, as well as any post-op compression garments. Prescription pain medication is not covered in the cost of surgery and is not dispensed by Dr. J.J. Wendel Plastic Surgery.

How much does fat transfer to the breasts cost?

The cost fat transfer to the breasts depends on the amount of fat Dr. Wendel deems necessary and time needed. Even with these variables, fat transfer to the breasts typically starts at $10,300.

After the initial consultation, how many more visits will I make to your office before the surgery?

In addition to the initial consultation, you’ll have one more preoperative appointment. At this appointment, you will discuss any questions that may have arisen, talk about specific details of the surgery, review pre and post op instructions, and prescriptions will be prescribed electronically. You will also have pre-operative photos taken for your medical chart.

What kind of scars will I have?

The incisions for a breast fat transfer will be very minimal. The small incisions that you will have will be from the access points from your harvest and transfer sites typically only require one suture (stitch) each.
